Village Hall

Throughout the year, the Village Hall Committee are always seeking to put on new and exciting events to help bring our village together. A recent Quiz Night was a great success, with over 80 residents participating. A delicious supper opened the evening before the teams probed their brains to answer several rounds of fun packed questions.

Previous recent events have included a Murder Mystery Night, Harvest Supper, Christmas Fayre and Burn's Night. In the summer months, we move the events to either the field behind the church for our Summer Fayre and Dog Show or to the allotments for our Brass Band Concert where Pimms and local beers flow well, along side bowls of delicious homegrown strawberries.

All of the funds raised go to further improve the hall's facilities.

Over the past year, through grants, events, the generosity of the village and hall lettings, we have managed to reconfigure and refurbish the entrance hall, toilet block and store as well as completely gut and refit the kitchen.

Plans are afoot for more improvements but all in good time!

The cost of hiring the Hall is £10.00 per hour. For evening events, please discuss the hire fee personally with Chris.
