Smeeton Westerby Parish Council is seeking to recruit a Clerk, starting in January. With a small population, the council meets in the local village hall five times a year. The Clerk will be the Proper and Responsible Financial Officer, managing all associated duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform administrative tasks and manage council communications.
- Maintain financial records and oversee budgeting and accounts.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and assist in meeting preparation.
Qualifications:
- Strong administrative and IT skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Flexible approach to work.
- Previous parish council experience is preferred.

Salary:
LC1, SCP 5-6, £12.21-££12.42 per hour
